Not Sure Where to Start?

Planning a Marine wedding or celebration steeped in tradition? The Naval Academy Club makes an especially meaningful setting. And when the guest list gets big—really big—Alumni Hall, Dahlgren Hall, and Hospital Point give you room to think grandly.

Whichever you choose, these aren't simply Annapolis event venues. They're spaces that let your guests experience the history, tradition, and unmistakable spirit of the U.S. Naval Academy while celebrating a milestone of your own.

Bo Coppedge Room: Bring on the View

Want to hear a collective “wow” when your guests arrive?

Start with the Bo Coppedge Room in Alumni Hall. Named for the Academy's first civilian athletic director, this sweeping private event space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of College Creek and the Severn River.

The room accommodates up to 250 guests for a plated dinner or 350 for a reception, making it a standout for wedding receptions, banquets, retirement celebrations, and other milestone events in Annapolis.

And if you're thinking even bigger, Alumni Hall has you covered. Its Arena Floor can accommodate up to 650 seated guests or 850 for a reception, while the expansive Lobby filled with captivating art can welcome approximately 900–1,000 for reception-style events.

Bryant Room: Small Gathering, Big Impression

Not every special occasion calls for hundreds of people.

Also inside Alumni Hall, the Bryant Room offers an intimate, polished setting for smaller gatherings. Its stately conference table seats 16, while reception-style events can accommodate up to 50.

Think family gathering before a larger event, distinguished guest reception, team celebration, or private get-togethers. It's proof a smaller guest list can still enjoy an awe-inspiring atmosphere.

Naval Academy Club: Classic Navy Elegance

For celebrations with a timeless feel, there's the historic Naval Academy Club.

The sophisticated and airy Midway and Coral Sea Rooms can host up to 140 guests seated or 150 for a reception and are suited to elegant weddings, conferences, family celebrations, memorials, and retirements.

For a more intimate occasion, the Leyte Gulf Room accommodates 64 seated or up to 100 reception-style.

For couples connected to the Navy or Marine Corps, there's something particularly meaningful about celebrating military events and marriages in a setting so closely tied to service and tradition.

Whether you're envisioning a wedding and reception, anniversary celebration, or other important event, the setting provides a deep sense of history and connection.

Dahlgren Hall: Go Grand

If your guest list is headed into lengthy territory, look to Dahlgren Hall.

Its historic, soaring Assembly Floor can accommodate up to 800 seated guests or 2,080 for a reception—making it one of the most impressive large-scale Annapolis event venues.

For something more intimate with a maritime feel, the Class of '53 Deck offers another option, accommodating up to 450 for a reception. It's well suited to cocktail hours, weddings, and semi-formal or formal celebrations.

From elegant weddings to galas and large receptions, Dahlgren Hall brings the drama and emotion without losing that unmistakable Naval Academy character.

Visitor Center: A Celebration with a View

Here's a venue guests may not expect. Featuring water views of the City Dock area and Eastport, it’s a unique visitor center with exceptional style.

The Naval Academy Visitor Center's Second Floor Deck can accommodate up to 60 guests seated or 90 reception-style and is available for birthdays, anniversaries, showers, wedding receptions, and other celebrations.

For corporate gatherings, the Visitor Center also offers a plush theater for up to 100 guests as well as its Exhibit Area/Quarterdeck that hosts up to 200 for networking, reunions, and other receptions.

It's a fresh choice for anyone looking beyond traditional event spaces.

Or Take the Celebration Outside

Want your backdrop to be the Severn itself?

Hospital Point can accommodate outdoor weddings, ceremonies, and other events for more than 1,000 guests. With open space and waterfront views, it's about as close to “infinite” as a Yard venue gets.

There are even more possibilities, subject to availability and event eligibility: the Robert Crown Sailing Center for maritime-inspired gatherings; Hopper Hall for modern conferences and receptions; and even the USNA Museum in Preble Hall for gatherings surrounded by Naval Academy history.

In other words, this isn't one venue. It's a whole Yard full of possibilities.

Your Celebration Has a Bigger Purpose

Beautiful surroundings are only part of what makes these events in Annapolis different.

When you host your celebration through Naval Academy Hospitality, the profits support the Brigade of Midshipmen. Your gathering becomes part of something larger—helping support the young women and men preparing to serve as future U.S. Navy and Marine Corps officers with the essential extracurricular activities that build camaraderie and teamwork.

So dream a little bigger.

Invite the people who matter. Choose a space that tells a story. Bring your milestone to a place where milestones have been celebrated for generations.

Your occasion is special. On the Yard, the setting can be, too.
