    Additional details for the 2022 Student Youth Leadership Program

     

    The program cost is $70.00 per child and can be paid via check or credit card.

    The Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center of the U.S. Naval Academy invites young people 13 through 15 to spend half a day learning about Naval Academy as an alternative to a traditional college education. This program is fun, educational and interactive.

     

    The Leadership Program is scheduled for July 9 and August 6, 2022; it will run from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

     

    Registration and payment must be completed at least one week prior to your selected program date.

     

     

     

    The agenda is as follows:

    8:30 AM Check in at Visitor Center; receive USNA cap, USNA water bottle/lanyard and name tag
    9:00 AM Welcome and presentations by a retired Admissions officer on preparing for collect and by Navy and Marine Corps officers on careers in the services
    10:00 AM View the film "The Call to Serve"
    10:15 AM Head break
    10:30 AM Guided walking tour of USNA (Recommend extended tour with parents in the afternoon)
    12:15 PM Leadership team building exercise and receive take-home packet
    1:00 PM Meet parents at Visitor Center
